Today there are battles for our past, and therefore for our happy future. And not only on the informational, political, economic fields. They shoot very close to the borders of Belarus. Just as people died at the hands of fascists during the war, so today innocent people are suffering at the hands of neo-fascism. All over Europe, which we liberated from the brown plague, monuments to liberator soldiers are being torn down.
There are battles going on today for our consciousness as well. No respect for memory, silencing historical facts, or, to put it mildly, twisting them, falsifying them, all this leads to dehumanization, to the revival of neo-fascism. The movie is a warning!
There’s a lot of historical narrative in the movie. Only then we will feel ourselves as one people, when we listen to the voice of historical Truth.
